My thesis project started with the question: How does a blind person experience the aquarium? A lot of research, some transitions, and 200+ species of jellies later, I have created the Fried Egg Jelly Interaction! Centered around this Mediterranean jelly, the interaction helps people with different types of visual impairments by providing high contrast colors and tactile elements. Because of its low level sting, fish will often hide among its tentacles. Built to mimic the shape of the jelly, you too can find safety under its bell. Bringing accessibility one jelly at a time, coming to an aquarium near you!
