As someone who has been doing woodworking and carpentry since 7th grade, I understand how much waste goes into current "fast furniture" especially pieces designed for single short-term purposes. While living in Boston, I also identified one of the bigger pain points that most renters and frequent movers experience. The struggle to find furniture that not only serves more than one purpose, but maximizes the most of their small apartment space. Most of what’s out there takes up too much room when it’s not in use, and doesn’t adapt well to small apartments. That’s what led me to design a furniture piece that’s multi-functional, compact, and easy to live with in tight spaces.
