WHAT IS INDUSTRIAL DESIGN?
Professional industrial designers work at the intersection of art, business, and technology. Through research and experience, designers enrich the lives of those around us, by interpreting our psychological/social desires into the objects and services we interact with daily. They help provide order, structure, and vision for their employers, as well as, empathy for environmental, social, and technological issues.
After school, graduates work in a wide variety of industries including consumer products, toys, sports, medical equipment, footwear, furniture, and exhibit design.
