Hi I’m Angela, welcome to my senior thesis project! OPTIC is a high tech wristband or shirt clip device. OPTIC guides visually impaired individuals through grocery stores. It navigates the user to aisles, identifies items within that aisle, guides to particular items, and provides product information. OPTIC enables independence. OPTIC can be paired with the OPTIC App to upload grocery lists, utilize coupons, and use a “pay and go” system.
