POVO, or ‘people’, recalls my path of exploring Brazilian identity through jewelry. I worked with artisans in Brazil to create a collection of pieces I designed to transcend the common idea of preciousness in jewelry. Instead, the work carries stories, traditions, and beliefs of the ones whose craft inspired me.
